A two day stay at the lake also gave us time to talk with the camp host, Denny who is a master of story telling and perhaps of the universe as well. He enlightened us with the news that moose are not carnivorous and that we should next travel to Valdez. So far, Denny has been proven right.

What a glowing description of an old carpenter turned campground host!! It is folks like Vinnie & Maria &,of course, Vinnie's parents. that made the summer so enjoyable at West Fork Campground. As winter approaches I spend considerable time reflecting on the summer & folks I met. You were great fun interesting people. Denny
